Description

Zoom on the DeWalt DXPW60603

In a nutshell, the DeWalt DXPW60603 is a commercial pressure washer, which not only offers an all-around versatile cleaning experience, but that also allows:

  • focused spot cleaning on hard, unpainted surfaces, accessing high spots, and efficiently eliminating stubborn stains
  • general cleaning of hard surfaces , washing vehicles, and preparing surfaces for painting
  • mild cleaning for delicate surfaces, and low-pressure cleaning for broader areas
  • applying detergent and cleaning solutions, and rinsing surfaces

Ahead are presented its power characteristics and design, its main features and any other additional features.

Power

Its triplex pump, which utilizes a 196cc (5.8 hp) engine, may deliver a pressure of up to 3200 PSI (almost 53 times more than a standard garden hose) and a flow of up to 2.8 GPM. Corresponding to these values is a cleaning power of 8960 Cleaning Units.

For this gas-powered pressure washer, the Honda GX200 engine is started using a time-tested pull-start mechanism.

Gasoline is stored in a fuel tank with a maximum capacity of 0.82 gallon.

Design & Handling

Characterized by its wheelbarrow layout, the DeWalt DXPW60603 provides improved mobility and stability, facilitating easy movement and steadfast operation for effective cleaning results. Guaranteeing longevity, the robust welded steel frame offers stability and protects internal components, even when subjected to demanding tasks. The handle adds to the DXPW60603 convenience of transport.

Weighing in at 90 lbs, it's safe to say this unit isn't lightweight, which might pose difficulties for users when it comes to lifting and transporting, particularly over uneven surfaces. Its 196cc Honda GX200 engine, the triplex pump and welded steel frame are mainly responsible for its heavy weight. Nonetheless, the addition of two 10" pneumatic wheels simplifies maneuvering the DXPW60603, even across rough ground.

Main Features

The DeWalt DXPW60603 comes with a spray gun, a wand, a pressure hose, 5 nozzles and a detergent injection feature, which are detailed below.

  • Soap injection: While not equipped with a soap tank, the device maintains detergent supply through a siphon hose. Once a soap nozzle is connected, the pressure washer automatically blends the detergent with the water flow.
  • Pressure hose: The included 25 ft ⌀5/16" high-pressure hose can be neatly stored on the unit when not in use, utilizing a set of convenient hooks for convenient organization.
  • Spray gun and wand: The included classic ergonomic spray gun and its wand can be easily stored in a side hook. The gun features a rotating auxiliary side handle to further improve the comfort of both left and right-handed users.
  • Nozzles: The following table provides information on the 5 included nozzles and their recommended surface uses.

We bought the machine at home depot and only used it four times and it has started leaking from the pump. It was a white liquid and i called the customer service at Dewalt and have not gotten a response yet. This is really upsetting because I need a pressure washer on a daily basis and I am not able to use it. At the bare minimum, I would expect a call back to correct the issue with the machine.

    + PROS:
    • great pressure
    - CONS:
    • Stared leaking from the pump after four uses.
