Description

Zoom on the DeWalt DXPW60604

In summary, the DeWalt DXPW60604 is a heavy duty, commercial pressure washer, that offers an all-around versatile cleaning experience, and also:

  • spot cleaning of hard, unpainted surfaces and high-reach cleaning
  • intense cleaning of hard, unpainted surfaces
  • cleaning of painted and fragile surfaces
  • use of detergent and cleaning solutions

Its power characteristics and design, its main features and all its additional features are presented ahead.

Power

Using an impressive 270 cc (8.4 hp) engine, its triplex pump delivers a pressure of up to 3800 PSI (roughly 63 times more than a standard garden hose) and a flow of up to 3.5 GPM (CETA-certified values). Together, the values result in a cleaning power of 13300 Cleaning Units.

A classic pull-start mechanism is responsible for starting the gas-powered pressure washer’s Honda GX270 engine.

Gasoline storage is facilitated by a fuel tank with a maximum capacity of 1.4 gallon.

Design & Handling

The wheelbarrow design of the DeWalt DXPW60604 grants mobility and stability to the unit. The robust and sturdy welded steel frame offers longevity to the assembly. The handle adds to the DXPW60604 convenience of transport.

At 125 lbs, we can't really say that the unit is a lightweight, and manually lifting or transporting it could be a challenge. Its 270 cc Honda GX270 engine, the triplex pump and welded steel frame are mainly responsible for its heavy weight. However, the unit is mobile thanks to its two 13" pneumatic wheels, which add to its movability and allow it to be manipulated smoothly on the job.

Main Features

The DeWalt DXPW60604's package includes a spray gun, a wand, a pressure hose, 5 nozzles and a detergent injection feature, with a more detailed description below.

  • Soap injection: Detergent is fed in through a siphon hose, since the device lacks a soap tank. The detergent is automatically added to the water when a soap nozzle is connected.
  • Pressure hose: The 50 ft ⌀3/8" high-pressure hose, which is included with the device, can be stored neatly on the unit itself when idle, using a set of convenient hooks.
  • Spray gun and wand: A side hook enables you to easily store the included classic ergonomic spray gun and its wand. A rotating auxiliary side handle further improves both left-handed and right-handed users' comfort.
  • Nozzles: The table below shows you the 5 included nozzles, as well as the surfaces they're the most appropriate for.
