Description
Zoom on the ECHO PW-3100
In a nutshell, the ECHO PW-3100 is a heavy duty, commercial pressure washer that allows:
- spot cleaning of hard, unpainted surfaces or high reach areas
- intense cleaning of hard, unpainted surfaces
- cleaning of painted or delicate surfaces
- application of detergent and cleaning solutions
Ahead are presented its power characteristics and design, its main features and any other additional features.
Power
Using a powerful 212 cc (7 hp) engine, its axial cam pump delivers a pressure of up to 3100 PSI (roughly 52 times more than a standard garden hose) and a flow of up to 2.5 GPM (values claimed by the manufacturer). Together, the values result in a cleaning power of 7750 Cleaning Units.
The Rato R225 engine of this gas-powered pressure washer gets started by a classic pull-start mechanism.
The fuel is stored in a tank, which can hold up to 0.95 gallon of gasoline.
Design & Handling
The ECHO PW-3100 is very mobile, due to its hand truck design and approximate dimensions of D23 x W22 x H43 in. The robust and sturdy steel frame offers longevity to the assembly. The reversible handle offers further versatility, as its different positions make the unit less bulky when stored.
The majority of users will be able to maneuver this unit easily, it only weighs 77 lbs. Its 212 cc Rato R225 engine and steel frame account for a good chunk of that weight. The PW-3100 can still be easily manipulated and maneuvered, thanks to its two 12" never-flat wheels.
