Zoom on the ECHO PW-3100

In summary, the ECHO PW-3100 is a heavy duty, commercial pressure washer, which provides:

  • spot cleaning of hard, paintless surfaces and reaching far-away areas
  • intense cleaning of tough, paintless surfaces
  • cleaning of painted or delicate surfaces
  • application of detergent and cleaning solutions

Its power characteristics and design, its main features and all its additional features are presented ahead.

Power

The ECHO PW-3100 in use

The ECHO PW-3100

The ECHO PW-3100's axial cam pump, powered by an impressive 212 cc (7 hp) engine, can provide a pressure of up to 3100 PSI (approximately 52 times more than a standard garden hose) and a flow of up to 2.5 GPM (values claimed by the manufacturer). The ECHO PW-3100 thus has a cleaning power of 7750 Cleaning Units.

A classic pull-start mechanism is responsible for starting the gas-powered pressure washer’s Rato R225 engine.

Gasoline storage is facilitated by a fuel tank with a maximum capacity of 0.95 gallon.

Design & Handling

The ECHO PW-3100 is very mobile, due to its hand truck design and approximate dimensions of D23 x W22 x H43 in. The robust and sturdy steel frame offers longevity to the assembly. The reversible handle offers further versatility, as its different positions make the unit less bulky when stored.

Weighing 77 lbs, the unit is easy to maneuver by most people. A major component of its weight are its 212 cc Rato R225 engine and steel frame. But, as the PW-3100 does have a set of two 12" never-flat wheels, it can be easily maneuvered and manipulated.

Main Features

Along with the ECHO PW-3100 itself, the package also includes a spray gun, a wand, a pressure hose, 4 nozzles and a detergent injection feature, which are discussed in further detail below.

  • Soap injection: A safe detergent storage is facilitated by a 0.92 gal tank. Whenever a soap nozzle is connected, the detergent is automatically added to the water.
  • Pressure hose: The 25 ft ⌀3/8" high-pressure hose, which is included with the device, can be stored neatly on the unit itself when idle, using a set of convenient hooks.
  • Spray gun and wand: The included classic ergonomic spray gun and its wand can be easily stored in a side hook.
  • Nozzles: The 4 nozzles included with the device, and the respective surfaces which they’re the most suitable for, are shown in the following table.
