Zoom on the ECHO PW-3200
The ECHO PW-3200 is a heavy duty pressure washer, that provides its users with an all-around versatile cleaning experience, and enables:
- targeted spot cleaning for hard, unpainted surfaces, reaching elevated areas, and thoroughly removing stubborn stains
- comprehensive cleaning of hard surfaces, vehicle washing, and readying surfaces for painting
- mild cleaning for delicate surfaces, and low-pressure cleaning for broader areas
- utilizing cleaning solutions, and rinsing surfaces clean
Ahead are presented its power characteristics and design, its main features and any other additional features.
Power
Using a powerful 212cc engine, its axial cam pump delivers a pressure of up to 3200 PSI (roughly 53 times more than a standard garden hose) and a flow of up to 2.5 GPM (values as per PW101-2010). When these values are taken together, they yield a cleaning power of 8000 Cleaning Units.
To initiate the engine of this gas-powered pressure washer, a traditional pull-start mechanism is employed.
The pressure washer's steel tank has a maximum capacity of 0.95 gallon for storing gasoline.
Design & Handling
Designed with a wheelbarrow configuration, the ECHO PW-3200 ensures improved mobility and stability, allowing for effortless movement and reliable operation on challenging surfaces. Built to endure, the steel frame ensures the assembly's longevity by providing stability and safeguarding internal components under all working conditions. The reversible handle offers further versatility, as its different positions make the unit less bulky when stored.
Weighing 69 lbs, this unit offers a manageable weight that allows for easy handling by most individuals. That weight is mainly due to the inclusion of the 212cc engine and a solid steel frame. Even so, the PW-3200's two never-flat wheels maintain easy maneuverability.
Main Features
The ECHO PW-3200 comes with a spray gun, a wand, a pressure hose, 5 nozzles and a detergent injection feature, which are detailed below.
- Soap injection: Even without a built-in soap tank, the device relies on a siphon hose to provide detergent. The ECHO PW-3200 has an automatic soap dilution mechanism, which dilutes the detergent using a 20:1 ratio. Once a soap nozzle is connected, the pressure washer automatically blends the detergent with the water flow.
- Pressure hose: For easy organization, the included 30 ft high-pressure hose can be stored on the unit using a set of easy-to-use straps when it's not in use, ensuring a clutter-free workspace.
- Spray gun and wand: Both the classic ergonomic spray gun and its wand may be conveniently stored in a side hook. A rotating auxiliary side handle further improves both left-handed and right-handed users' comfort.
- Nozzles: In the table below, you can see the 5 included nozzles alongside their respective recommended surface uses.

The following charts are provided to give you an idea of how the key specs of the ECHO PW-3200 compare to similarly priced pressure washers.
- The ECHO PW-3200 and its 3200 PSI, ranks amongst gas-powered pressure washers with a comparably low pressure output, considering the units that cost between $1000 and $1300. If you're seeking the strongest water stream, look no further than the DeWalt DXPW4440, which delivers an impressive 4400 PSI.
- When measured against items within the price range mentioned earlier, this washer, with its 2.5 GPM, falls on the lower end of achievable water flow rates. If maximum rinsing efficiency is your top priority, one of the devices with the highest water flow in the same price range is the DeWalt DXPW4440, with a GPM of 4.
- Amongst similarly priced gas-powered devices, the 8000 Cleaning Units (PSI X GPM) of the PW-3200 rank as low. If you are after the highest overall cleaning power, the DeWalt DXPW4440 with its 17600 Cleaning Units is one of the products that can achieve the highest cleaning efficiency in this price range.
