Zoom on the Generac 7019

In a nutshell, the Generac 7019 is a heavy duty, commercial pressure washer, which not only offers an all-around versatile cleaning experience, but that also allows:

  • spot cleaning of hard, paintless surfaces and reaching far-away areas
  • cleaning of painted or delicate surfaces
  • applying detergent and cleaning solutions

Ahead are presented its power characteristics and design, its main features and any other additional features.

Power

The Generac 7019 in use

The Generac 7019

Powered by a 196 cc engine, its axial cam pump can deliver a pressure of 3100 PSI (around 52 times more than a standard garden hose) and a flow of up to 2.4 GPM (values claimed by the manufacturer). Combined, these values mean that the Generac 7019 has a cleaning power of 7440 Cleaning Units.

A classic pull-start mechanism is responsible for starting the gas-powered pressure washer’s Generac engine.

A fuel tank with a maximum capacity of 0.8 gallon is used to store gasoline.

Design & Handling

The Generac 7019 offers superb mobility, with a hand truck design and approximate dimensions of D24.4 x W18.9 x H35.5 in. The robust and sturdy steel frame offers longevity to the assembly. The rubber-padded fixed handle adds to the 7019 convenience of transport, while offering a comfortable grip.

Most users can maneuver this model easily, as it weighs just 57 lbs. A major component of its weight are its 196 cc Generac engine and steel frame. Nethertheless, thanks to its two 10" never-flat wheels, the 7019 remains very easy to manipulate and maneuver.

Main Features

The Generac 7019's package includes a spray gun, a wand, a pressure hose, 4 nozzles and a detergent injection feature, with a more detailed description below.

  • Soap injection: Detergent storage is ensured by a 0.5 gal tank. As the Generac 7019 doesn’t include a soap dilution mechanism, the user must provide a correctly diluted detergent before proceeding to use it. The detergent is automatically added to the water when a soap nozzle is connected.
  • Pressure hose: The included 25 ft ⌀1/4" high-pressure hose (3100 PSI rating) can be neatly stored on the unit when idle thanks to a set of convenient hooks.
  • Spray gun and wand: A side hook enables you to easily store the included PowerDial spray gun and its wand.
  • Nozzles: The following table illustrates the 4 included nozzles, along with the surfaces which they are the most suitable for.

  • Pressure control: Water pressure can be manually changed, using the adjustable throttle of the trigger gun.
  • Safety: Safety of operation is enhanced by a thermal relief valve (which helps to prevent internal pump damage) and a trigger lock mechanism (which prevents accidental operation).
  • Accessories: The Generac 7019 comes with an owner's manual (opens in a new tab) and some basic documentation to get you quickly started. On top of that, you also get pressure hose, oil, spray gun and wand.
