The Greenworks GPW2000's performance versus other pressure washers

The following charts are provided to give you an idea of how the key specs of the Greenworks GPW2000 compare to similarly priced pressure washers.

  • The Greenworks GPW2000, a device which can produce up to 2000 PSI, is on the lower end of the pressure spectrum, among the electric pressure washers in the $240-300 price range. In case you are looking for a device with the highest possible power of its water stream, one of the top achievers in this price range is the Westinghouse WPX3000e with a PSI of 3000.
  • The achievable water flow of this washer, which reaches 1.2 GPM (gallons per minute) can be described as low, compared to other devices in its price range. If rinsing away debris most efficiently is your priority, one of the devices with the highest GPM in this price range is the Greenworks GPW2700, which can reach up to 2.3 GPM.
  • Amongst similarly priced electric devices, the 2400 Cleaning Units (PSI X GPM) of the GPW2000 rank as low. If you consider the highest overall cleaning power as a really important factor, the Ryobi RY143011 and its 3300 Cleaning Units has one of the highest cleaning efficiency of all the similarly priced units.

Price comparison

As you can see from these interactive charts, when compared to other electric washers between 2000 and 2500 Cleaning Units, the Greenworks GPW2000 is on the expensive side of the price range.

While certainly not the cheapest of its cleaning power range, purchasing it could most likely also mean enjoying the reliability of a high-end product.

The bottom line

STRENGTHS:
  • Good range of nozzles included
  • Onboard storage
WEAKNESSES:
  • On the expensive side
  • Low PSI for the price
  • Low GPM for the price
  • Low CU for the price

The washer worked fine, then the pump piston seals began to leak. Could not find a pump rebuild kit for it. There is no information in the manual about pump internals, parts for pump, or equivalent parts. Their web page has no info either. So my assumption is they make it as a throwaway.

    + PROS: Easy to use
    - CONS: No maintenance parts for critical elements.
