Description

Powermate's 2800 PSI pressure washer is designed to tackle a variety of routine cleaning jobs around your home’s exterior. A 25-ft. non-marring, high-pressure PVC hose gives you plenty of room to move, and four quick-change nozzle tips — a 0°, 25°, 40° and low-pressure soap tip — allow variety in how you clean.

Zoom on the Powermate 7130

The Powermate 7130, a medium to heavy duty pressure washer, gives its user an all-around versatile cleaning experience, topped off by the following features:

  • spot cleaning of hard, paintless surfaces and reaching far-away areas
  • cleaning of painted and fragile surfaces
  • use of detergent and cleaning solutions

The following sections will present you in detail its power characteristics and design, its main features and all the additional features it has to offer.

Power

Its aluminum axial cam pump, which utilizes an impressive 208 cc (5.8 hp) engine, may deliver a pressure of up to 2800 PSI (almost 47 times more than a standard garden hose) and a flow of up to 2.3 GPM. These values correspond to a cleaning power of 6440 Cleaning Units.

The Generac engine of this gas-powered pressure washer relies on an old-school pull-start mechanism to get started.

The fuel is stored in a tank, which can hold up to 0.87 gallon of gasoline.

Design & Handling

The Powermate 7130 is very mobile, due to its hand truck design and approximate dimensions of D23.6 x W19.7 x H40.3 in. The robust and sturdy welded steel frame offers longevity to the assembly. The foam-padded fixed handle adds to the 7130 convenience of transport, while offering a comfortable grip.

The device can be maneuvered with ease by most, since it only weighs 57 lbs. A major component of its weight are its 208 cc Generac engine and welded steel frame. But, as the 7130 does have a set of two 10" never-flat wheels, it can be easily maneuvered and manipulated.

Main Features

The Powermate 7130's package includes a spray gun, a wand, a pressure hose, 4 nozzles and a detergent injection feature, with a more detailed description below.

  • Soap injection: Detergent storage is ensured by a 0.3 gal tank. The Powermate 7130 is not equipped with a soap dilution mechanism, and thus, it is up to the user to ensure the detergent’s correct dilution ratio when using it. The detergent will be added automatically to the water when a soap nozzle is attached.
  • Pressure hose: The included 25 ft ⌀0.3" high-pressure hose (3100 PSI rating) can be neatly stored on the unit when idle thanks to a set of convenient hooks.
  • Spray gun and wand: A side hook allows for an easy storage of the included classic ergonomic spray gun and its wand.
  • Nozzles: The 4 nozzles included with the device, and the respective surfaces which they’re the most suitable for, are shown in the following table.
