Description
Zoom on the Powermate 7130
The Powermate 7130 is a medium to heavy duty pressure washer, that provides its users with an all-around versatile cleaning experience, and enables:
- spot cleaning of hard, paintless surfaces and reaching far-away areas
- cleaning of painted and frail surfaces
- application of detergent and cleaning solutions
Ahead are presented its power characteristics and design, its main features and any other additional features.
Power
The Powermate 7130's aluminum axial cam pump, powered by an impressive 208 cc (5.8 hp) engine, can provide a pressure of up to 2800 PSI (approximately 47 times more than a standard garden hose) and a flow of up to 2.3 GPM (values claimed by the manufacturer). The Powermate 7130 thus has a cleaning power of 6440 Cleaning Units.
This gas-powered pressure washer’s Generac engine is started by a traditional pull-start mechanism.
Gasoline storage is facilitated by a fuel tank with a maximum capacity of 0.87 gallon.
Design & Handling
The Powermate 7130 offers superb mobility, with a hand truck design and approximate dimensions of D23.6 x W19.7 x H40.3 in. The robust and sturdy welded steel frame offers longevity to the assembly. The foam-padded fixed handle adds to the 7130 convenience of transport, while offering a comfortable grip.
Most users can maneuver this model easily, as it weighs just 57 lbs. A major component of its weight are its 208 cc Generac engine and welded steel frame. But, as the 7130 does have a set of two 10" never-flat wheels, it can be easily maneuvered and manipulated.
Main Features
The Powermate 7130 comes with a spray gun, a wand, a pressure hose, 4 nozzles and a detergent injection feature, which are detailed below.
- Soap injection: A safe detergent storage is facilitated by a 0.3 gal tank. However, since the Powermate 7130 does not feature a soap dilution mechanism, you'll have to make sure your detergent is correctly diluted before use. Whenever a soap nozzle is connected, the detergent is automatically added to the water.
- Pressure hose: Using a set of convenient hooks, the included 25 ft ⌀0.3" high-pressure hose (3100 PSI rating) can be easily stored on the unit when it is not running.
- Spray gun and wand: A side hook enables you to easily store the included classic ergonomic spray gun and its wand.
- Nozzles: The following table illustrates the 4 included nozzles, along with the surfaces which they are the most suitable for.
