Power

The PowerStroke PS80519B in use

The PowerStroke PS80519B

The PowerStroke PS80519B's axial cam pump, powered by a 150cc engine, can provide a pressure of up to 2200 PSI (approximately 37 times more than a standard garden hose) and a flow of up to 2 GPM (values as per PW101-2010). Thus, the PowerStroke PS80519B achieves a cleaning power of 4400 Cleaning Units.

For this gas-powered pressure washer, the engine is started using a time-tested pull-start mechanism.

Fuel for the pressure washer is housed in a tank capable of holding up to 0.31 gallon of gasoline..

Design & Handling

The PowerStroke PS80519B boasts great mobility, courtesy of its convenient hand truck design. The robust steel tubing frame guarantees longevity of the assembly, providing stability and protection for internal components, even under demanding working conditions. The handle adds to the PS80519B convenience of transport.

At 58.1 lbs, this unit is light enough for easy handling, yet substantial enough to provide stability during operation. That weight is mainly due to the inclusion of the 150cc engine and a solid steel tubing frame. However, with its two never-flat wheels, the PS80519B is easy to maneuver.

Main Features

The PowerStroke PS80519B comes with a spray gun, a wand, a pressure hose, 3 nozzles and a detergent injection feature, which are detailed below.

  • Soap injection: Even though the device doesn't have a soap tank, detergent is supplied by a siphon hose. The PowerStroke PS80519B is equipped with an automatic soap dilution mechanism, efficiently blending detergent to the predefined ratio of 20:1. Connection of a soap nozzle triggers the pressure washer to automatically incorporate the detergent into the water stream.
  • Pressure hose: When not in use, the unit allows for tidy storage of the included 25 ft high-pressure hose using a set of easy-to-use straps, ensuring convenient organization.
  • Spray gun and wand: A side hook allows for an easy storage of the included classic ergonomic spray gun and its wand.
  • Nozzles: Below, you'll find a table outlining the 3 included nozzles and their recommended surfaces.

The only issues that I have found after 3 years is it just needs a bigger gas tank. Where others even more expensive have broken prematurely this is a tough pressure washer. I would say it is a smart purchase.

+ PROS: Easy quick connectors. Convenient to check oil. Use choke, Long 25' hose. Large wheels. Printed instructions on unit.
    - CONS: Small gas tank capacity.
