Power

The PowerStroke PS80519B in use

The PowerStroke PS80519B

With a 150 cc engine, its axial cam pump delivers a pressure of 2200 PSI (roughly 37 times more than a standard garden hose) and a flow of up to 2 GPM (values as per PW101-2010), resulting in the PowerStroke PS80519B's cleaning power of 4400 Cleaning Units.

This gas-powered pressure washer’s engine is started by a traditional pull-start mechanism.

Gasoline is stored in a fuel tank with a maximum capacity of 0.31 gallon.

Design & Handling

The PowerStroke PS80519B offers superb mobility, with a hand truck design and approximate dimensions of D19.2 x W17.2 x H34.8 in. The robust steel tubing frame guarantees longevity of the assembly. The handle adds to the PS80519B convenience of transport.

The majority of users will be able to maneuver this unit easily, it only weighs 58.1 lbs. A major component of its weight are its 150 cc engine and steel tubing frame. Since the PS80519B has a set of two never-flat wheels, it is still easily maneuvered and manipulated.

Main Features

The PowerStroke PS80519B's package includes a spray gun, a wand, a pressure hose, 3 nozzles and a detergent injection feature, with a more detailed description below.

  • Soap injection: Even though the device doesn't have a soap tank, detergent is supplied by a siphon hose. The automatic soap dilution mechanism of the PowerStroke PS80519B will dilute the detergent with a 20:1 ratio. The detergent is automatically added to the water when a soap nozzle is connected.
  • Pressure hose: The 25 ft high-pressure hose, which is included with the device, can be stored neatly on the unit itself when idle, using a set of easy-to-use straps.
  • Spray gun and wand: The included classic ergonomic spray gun and its wand can be easily stored in a side hook.
  • Nozzles: The 3 nozzles included with the device, and the respective surfaces which they’re the most suitable for, are shown in the following table.

The only issues that I have found after 3 years is it just needs a bigger gas tank. Where others even more expensive have broken prematurely this is a tough pressure washer. I would say it is a smart purchase.

+ PROS: Easy quick connectors. Convenient to check oil. Use choke, Long 25' hose. Large wheels. Printed instructions on unit.
    - CONS: Small gas tank capacity.
