Description
Zoom on the Ryobi RY803111
The Ryobi RY803111, a heavy duty, commercial pressure washer, gives its user an all-around versatile cleaning experience, topped off by the following features:
- spot cleaning of hard, unpainted surfaces and high-reach cleaning
- cleaning of painted and fragile surfaces
- applying detergent and cleaning solutions
The following sections will present you in detail its power characteristics and design, its main features and all the additional features it has to offer.
Power
Using a 196cc engine, its aluminum axial cam pump delivers a pressure of up to 3200 PSI (roughly 53 times more than a standard garden hose) and a flow of up to 2.5 GPM (values claimed by the manufacturer). Together, the values result in a cleaning power of 8000 Cleaning Units.
The Ryobi engine provides a convenient and reliable start of this gas-powered pressure washer, with a dual start mechanism: you may choose the more convenient electric start, or the classic pull-start mechanism. A 18V ONE+ Lithium+ battery, which is included in the package, is required for the electric start.
The fuel is stored in a tank, which can hold up to 0.25 gallon of gasoline, which provides an approximate runtime of 45 minutes.
Design & Handling
Thanks to its hand truck design and approximate dimensions of D26.5 x W17.5 x H37.5 in, the Ryobi RY803111 offers great mobility. The strong steel tubing frame assures assembly longevity. The foam-padded fixed handle adds to the RY803111 convenience of transport, while offering a comfortable grip.
The majority of users will be able to maneuver this unit easily, it only weighs 72 lbs. Its 196cc Ryobi engine and steel tubing frame all add up to a substantial part of that weight. However, the two 12" wheels allow the RY803111 to be easily manipulated and maneuvered.

won’t start right out of the box
Electric start after using a few times won’t work, won’t turn over with pull cord start either. Tried buying new batteries, changed
oil and gas, checked spark plug. Home Depot won’t return or exchange it. Waste of money.
