Description
Zoom on the Ryobi RY803325
In summary, the Ryobi RY803325 is a heavy duty, commercial pressure washer, that offers an all-around versatile cleaning experience, and also:
- spot cleaning of hard, unpainted surfaces or high reach areas
- cleaning of painted or delicate surfaces
- application of detergent and cleaning solutions
Its power characteristics and design, its main features and all its additional features are presented ahead.
Power
Using the brand new Honda GCV200 (opens in a new tab) engine, which is specially built for pressure washers, its axial cam pump delivers a pressure of up to 3300 PSI (roughly 55 times more than a standard garden hose) and a flow of up to 2.5 GPM (values as per PW101-2010). Together, the values result in a cleaning power of 8250 Cleaning Units.
The 201cc engine of this gas-powered pressure washer relies on an old-school pull-start mechanism to get started.
Gasoline is stored in a fuel tank with a maximum capacity of 0.24 gallon.
Design & Handling
With its hand truck design and approximate dimensions of D24 x W18 x H39 in, the Ryobi RY803325 provides great mobility. The robust and sturdy steel tubing frame offers longevity to the assembly. The folding handle enhances its mobility, while allowing for a convenient storage.
The majority of users will be able to maneuver this unit easily, it only weighs 70 lbs. One of the largest contributors to its weight are its 201cc Honda GCV200 engine and its steel tubing frame. Since the RY803325 has a set of two 12" never-flat wheels, it is still easily maneuvered and manipulated.
Main Features
The Ryobi RY803325's package includes a spray gun, a wand, a pressure hose, a 5-in-1 nozzle and a detergent injection feature, with a more detailed description below.
- Soap injection: A safe detergent storage is facilitated by a removable tank. The Ryobi RY803325 has an automatic soap dilution mechanism, which dilutes the detergent using a 20:1 ratio. Detergent is automatically added to the water when "soap" is selected on the 5-in-1 nozzle.
- Pressure hose: The 50 ft ⌀1/4" high-pressure hose, which is included with the device, can be stored neatly on the unit itself when idle, using a set of easy-to-use straps.
- Spray gun and wand: Both the classic ergonomic spray gun and its wand may be conveniently stored in a side hook.
- Nozzle: a 5-in-1 nozzle is included.
Ryobi's 5-in-1 nozzle offers five spray pattern settings (0°, 25°, 40°, short-range soap, long-range soap). Selection of a specific spray pattern is made by simply rotating the spray selector to the desired setting.
Other Features
- Onboard storage: The Ryobi RY803325 features a handy storage area, which allows you to neatly store nozzles and accessories and be always prepared by having everything needed at hand.
- Safety: Safety of operation is enhanced by a trigger lock mechanism (which prevents accidental operation) and a thermal relief valve (which helps to prevent internal pump damage).
- Accessories: On top of an owner's manual (opens in a new tab) and the usual documentation to get you swiftly started, the Ryobi RY803325 also comes with spray gun, pressure hose, wand, oil and funnel.
- Emissions: The Ryobi RY803325 is EPA-approved and CARB-compliant. This means that this pressure washer can be bought and sold in each of the 50 states, including California.

I just returned my roybi 3300 psi power washer this is the second one this year after using it for the 2nd time it was leaking oil. Home Depot did not want to take it back but did after I talked to a manager. Had a Roybi for 10 years with no problems it was a 2900 psi. Not sure what to buy now???
Honda put an inferior gasket in the valve cover and after using it twice it is leaking oil. This is a known problem and this product should have a recall but I don’t think it does. Now I have to buy a new cover and gasket material and fix it myself. Not impressed with only having used it a few times. I don’t recommend the Ryobi and probably any Ryobi power washer if they all use the Honda enginer.
My ryobi model 8033325 pressure seems to diminish when the gas tank is less than half full and struggles like it wants to shut down. Sometimes it will shut down and I have to restart. Uses a lot of gas and you can smell the fumes from the muffler when in use. You really need to wear as mask. When the tank is full it works fine but sometimes there will be no pressure at first. I have to play with it and turn the nozzle to a different degree.
