Powered by a powerful 389cc (11.7 hp) engine, its triplex pump can deliver a pressure of 4200 PSI (around 70 times more than a standard garden hose) and a flow of up to 4 GPM (CETA-certified values). With these values combined, the Simpson ALH4240 boasts a cleaning power of 16800 Cleaning Units.

For this gas-powered pressure washer, the Honda GX390 engine is started using a time-tested pull-start mechanism.

Containing gasoline, the pressure washer's steel fuel tank can hold a maximum of 1.6 gallon.

At 133 lbs, we can't really say that the unit is lightweight, and manually lifting or transporting it could be a significant challenge for users, especially if they need to move it frequently or navigate over uneven terrain. The main contributors to its weight are its 389cc Honda GX390 engine, the triplex pump and aluminum frame. However, the incorporation of two 13" pneumatic wheels makes navigating the ALH4240 less cumbersome, even on uneven terrain.

The Simpson ALH4240's package includes a spray gun, a wand, a pressure hose, 5 nozzles and a detergent injection feature, with a more detailed description below.

• Soap injection: Even though the device doesn't have a soap tank, detergent is supplied by a siphon hose. The pressure washer automatically dispenses and mixes the detergent with the water when a soap nozzle is attached.
• Pressure hose: With a set of convenient hooks, the unit offers a practical solution for maintaining workspace order, allowing the included 50 ft ⌀3/8" high-pressure hose to be neatly stored when idle.
• Spray gun and wand: A side hook allows for an easy storage of the included classic ergonomic spray gun and its steel wand.
