The Simpson PS61201 is a heavy duty, commercial pressure washer, that provides its users with an all-around versatile cleaning experience, and enables:
- spot cleaning of hard, paintless surfaces and reaching far-away areas
- thorough cleaning of hard, paint-free surfaces
- cleaning of painted and fragile surfaces
- applying detergent and cleaning solutions
Its power characteristics and design, its main features and all its additional features are presented ahead.
Power
Its axial cam pump, which utilizes a 196 cc (6.5 hp) engine, may deliver a pressure of up to 3500 PSI (almost 58 times more than a standard garden hose) and a flow of up to 2.5 GPM. These values correspond to a cleaning power of 8750 Cleaning Units.
A classic pull-start mechanism is responsible for starting the gas-powered pressure washer’s KOHLER SH270 engine.
A fuel tank with a maximum capacity of 0.88 gallon is used to store gasoline.
Design & Handling
The wheelbarrow design of the Simpson PS61201 grants mobility and stability to the unit. The robust welded steel frame guarantees longevity of the assembly. The handle adds to the PS61201 convenience of transport.
Most users can maneuver this model easily, as it weighs just 74 lbs. One of the largest contributors to its weight are its 196 cc KOHLER SH270 engine and its welded steel frame. Nethertheless, thanks to its two 10" pneumatic wheels, the PS61201 remains very easy to manipulate and maneuver.
