Description
Zoom on the Westinghouse ePX3050
The Westinghouse ePX3050, a medium duty pressure washer, gives its user an all-around versatile cleaning experience, topped off by the following features:
- spot cleaning of hard, paint-free surfaces and out-of-reach areas
- intense cleaning of tough, paintless surfaces
- use of detergent and cleaning solutions
The following sections will present you in detail its power characteristics and design, its main features and all the additional features it has to offer.
Power
Its axial cam pump, which utilizes a 13 amp motor, may deliver a pressure of up to 2030 PSI (almost 34 times more than a standard garden hose) and a flow of up to 1.76 GPM. These values correspond to a cleaning power of 3572.8 Cleaning Units.
Being an electric pressure washer, the Westinghouse ePX3050's motor can be easily started by a convenient ON/OFF switch. The unit is ready-to-use with peace of mind, thanks to the included 35 ft GFCI cord.
Design & Handling
With its portable design and approximate dimensions of D13.5 x W14 x H16.5 in, the Westinghouse ePX3050 makes mobility one of its core strengths. The handle adds to the ePX3050 convenience of transport. The handle remains sturdy and will never fall apart, as it is molded in the frame.
With a weight of only 19 lbs, the unit is very easy to carry around. It is lightweight, partly thanks to its plastic frame. As if this lightweight wasn't enough, the device also features four solid wheels to further improve its ease of use and of transport.
Main Features
Along with the Westinghouse ePX3050 itself, the package also includes a spray gun, a wand, a pressure hose, 4 nozzles and a detergent injection feature, which are discussed in further detail below.
- Soap injection: A safe detergent storage is facilitated by a 0.16 gal tank. The Westinghouse ePX3050 is not equipped with a soap dilution mechanism, and thus, it is up to the user to ensure the detergent’s correct dilution ratio when using it. The detergent will be added automatically to the water when a soap nozzle is attached.
- Pressure hose: Using a set of convenient hooks, the included 15 ft ⌀25/64" high-pressure hose can be easily stored on the unit when it is not running.
- Spray gun and wand: A side hook allows for an easy storage of the included classic ergonomic spray gun and its wand.
- Nozzles: The 4 included nozzles, and the respective surfaces they’re appropriate for, are listed in the table below.

I was very satisfied with the design and operation of the ePX3000 pressure washer. This washer was my replacement for an older competitor’s unit. The improvements: higher pressure, higher flow rate and multiple spray nozzles; and unit’s stability with low profile (will not tip over).
My first job was to clean our sandstone retainer wall from dirty black algae to light beige, done much quicker and easier than previous unit. Next will be cleaning the driveway and garage floor.
Great for homeowner.
