Description
Zoom on the Westinghouse ePX3100
In summary, the Westinghouse ePX3100 is a medium duty pressure washer, that offers an all-around versatile cleaning experience, and also:
- targeted spot cleaning for hard, unpainted surfaces, reaching elevated areas, and thoroughly removing stubborn stains
- comprehensive cleaning of hard surfaces, vehicle washing, and readying surfaces for painting
- applying detergents and cleaning agents, and rinsing off surfaces
Ahead are presented its power characteristics and design, its main features and any other additional features.
Power
Powered by a 13-amp motor, its axial cam pump can deliver a pressure of 2300 PSI (around 38 times more than a standard garden hose) and a flow of up to 1.76 GPM (values as per CSA testing standards). While these PSI and GPM values represent the maximum capabilities of the washer under specific conditions, it's important to note that under typical usage, the working pressure is 1900 PSI and the flow rate is 1.24 GPM. With these values combined, the Westinghouse ePX3100 boasts a cleaning power of 2356 Cleaning Units.
As an electric pressure washer, the ePX3100's motor is effortlessly activated with a simple ON/OFF switch, ensuring convenient operation. The unit is ready-to-use with peace of mind, thanks to the included 35 ft GFCI cord.
Design & Handling
Designed for on-the-go use, the Westinghouse ePX3100 offers a portable design and approximate dimensions of D13.5 x W14 x H16.5 in to facilitate easy movement. The handle adds to the ePX3100 convenience of transport. Designed as part of the frame, the handle ensures lasting integrity and eliminates the risk of detachment.
With its lightweight construction, tipping the scales at only 19 lbs, this unit is a portable powerhouse for all your cleaning needs. Thanks in part to its plastic frame, it remains lightweight. Enhancing its already lightweight design, the unit boasts four solid wheels, making transportation effortless.
Main Features
The Westinghouse ePX3100 comes with a spray gun, a wand, a pressure hose, 5 nozzles and a detergent injection feature, which are detailed below.
- Soap injection: Detergent storage is facilitated by the inclusion of a 0.16 gal tank. Because the Westinghouse ePX3100 lacks a soap dilution function, it's important to dilute detergent appropriately before using the pressure washer. Upon attaching a soap nozzle, the pressure washer seamlessly integrates the detergent into the water flow.
- Pressure hose: The unit comes equipped with an included 25 ft ⌀25/64" high-pressure hose, which can be neatly stored on the unit when idle, thanks to a set of convenient hooks, ensuring easy access and organization.
- Spray gun and wand: Both the classic ergonomic spray gun and its wand may be conveniently stored in a side hook.
- Nozzles: Refer to the table below for details on the 5 included nozzles and their recommended surface applications.

I was very satisfied with the design and operation of the ePX3000 pressure washer. This washer was my replacement for an older competitor’s unit. The improvements: higher pressure, higher flow rate and multiple spray nozzles; and unit’s stability with low profile (will not tip over).
My first job was to clean our sandstone retainer wall from dirty black algae to light beige, done much quicker and easier than previous unit. Next will be cleaning the driveway and garage floor.
Great for homeowner.
