Power

The Westinghouse ePX3100 in use

The Westinghouse ePX3100

Powered by a 13-amp motor, its axial cam pump can deliver a pressure of 2300 PSI (around 38 times more than a standard garden hose) and a flow of up to 1.76 GPM (values as per CSA testing standards). While these PSI and GPM values represent the maximum capabilities of the washer under specific conditions, it's important to note that under typical usage, the working pressure is 1900 PSI and the flow rate is 1.2 GPM. With these values combined, the Westinghouse ePX3100 boasts a cleaning power of 2280 Cleaning Units.

The ePX3100's motor is effortlessly activated with a simple ON/OFF switch, ensuring convenient operation. The unit is ready-to-use with peace of mind, thanks to the included 35 ft GFCI cord.

Design & Handling

The Westinghouse ePX3100's commitment to mobility is evident through its portable design and approximate dimensions of D13.5 x W14 x H16.5 in. The handle adds to the ePX3100 convenience of transport. Firmly molded into the frame, the handle ensures long-lasting durability and eliminates any chance of coming loose.

With its featherlight weight of 19 lbs, this unit offers unparalleled ease of transport and handling. Thanks in part to its plastic frame, it remains lightweight. Adding to its lightweight construction, four solid wheels are included, simplifying mobility and transport.

Main Features

The Westinghouse ePX3100

The Westinghouse ePX3100 comes with a spray gun, a wand, a pressure hose, 5 nozzles and a detergent injection feature, which are detailed below.

  • Soap injection: Detergent storage is ensured by a 0.16 gal tank. Due to the absence of a soap dilution feature, users of the Westinghouse ePX3100 must ensure detergent is correctly diluted prior to use. Connection of a soap nozzle triggers the pressure washer to automatically incorporate the detergent into the water stream.
  • Pressure hose: With a set of convenient hooks, the unit offers a practical solution for maintaining workspace order, allowing the included 25 ft ⌀5/16" high-pressure hose to be neatly stored when idle.
  • Spray gun and wand: A side hook enables you to easily store the included classic ergonomic spray gun and its wand.
  • Nozzles: The table below shows you the 5 included nozzles and the surfaces they're the most appropriate for.

I was very satisfied with the design and operation of the ePX3000 pressure washer. This washer was my replacement for an older competitor’s unit. The improvements: higher pressure, higher flow rate and multiple spray nozzles; and unit’s stability with low profile (will not tip over).
My first job was to clean our sandstone retainer wall from dirty black algae to light beige, done much quicker and easier than previous unit. Next will be cleaning the driveway and garage floor.
    Great for homeowner.

    + PROS:
    • Stability with low wide base and will not tip over.
    • Built-in soap container.
    • Low weight, can carry.
    • Electric, no gas cans or engine exhaust
    - CONS:
    • No high level handle.
