Description
Zoom on the Westinghouse WPX2700
The Westinghouse WPX2700 is a medium duty pressure washer, that provides its users with an all-around versatile cleaning experience, and enables:
- targeted spot cleaning for hard, unpainted surfaces, reaching elevated areas, and thoroughly removing stubborn stains
- mild cleaning for delicate surfaces, and low-pressure cleaning for broader areas
- applying detergents and cleaning agents, and rinsing off surfaces
The following sections will present you in detail its power characteristics and design, its main features and all the additional features it has to offer.
Power
Powered by a powerful 212cc engine, its aluminum axial cam pump can deliver a pressure of 2700 PSI (around 45 times more than a standard garden hose) and a flow of up to 2.3 GPM (values claimed by the manufacturer). With these values combined, the Westinghouse WPX2700 boasts a cleaning power of 6210 Cleaning Units.
To start the Westinghouse engine of this gas-powered washer, users employ the familiar pull-start technique.
Containing gasoline, the pressure washer's fuel tank can hold a maximum of 0.9 gallon.
Design & Handling
The Westinghouse WPX2700 is very mobile, due to its hand truck design and approximate dimensions of L21 x W19.5 x H39 in. Guaranteeing longevity, the robust steel tubing frame offers stability and protects internal components, even when subjected to demanding tasks. The foam-padded fixed handle adds to the WPX2700 convenience of transport, while offering a comfortable grip.
At 63 lbs, this unit strikes a balance between portability and stability, making it easy for most users to handle. This substantial weight can be partially attributed to the incorporation of the 212cc Westinghouse engine and a resilient steel tubing frame. Yet, its two 12" never-flat wheels ensure the WPX2700 remains effortlessly maneuverable.
Main Features
The Westinghouse WPX2700 comes with a spray gun, a pressure hose, 4 nozzles and a detergent injection feature, which are detailed below.
- Soap injection: Detergent storage is facilitated by the inclusion of a 0.5 gal tank. As the Westinghouse WPX2700 does not include a soap dilution mechanism, it's essential to ensure proper detergent dilution before operating the pressure washer. The detergent is automatically mixed with the water flow by the pressure washer when a soap nozzle is connected.
- Pressure hose: With a set of convenient hooks, the unit offers a practical solution for maintaining workspace order, allowing the included 25 ft ⌀5/16" high-pressure hose (2700 PSI rating) to be neatly stored when idle.
- Spray gun: The included ergonomic EnduraGrasp spray gun can be easily stored in a side hook.
- Nozzles: Refer to the table below for details on the 4 included nozzles and their recommended surface applications.

- Accessories: On top of an owner's manual (opens in a new tab) and the usual documentation to get you swiftly started, the Westinghouse WPX2700 also comes with tool kit, oil, funnel, nozzle cleaner, spray gun and pressure hose.

Bought the WPX2700 on Amazon. It’s my first pressure washer and it is working great so far. Used it to wash my house using 1 gallon of Mold Armor and straight water for rinsing. Easy to assemble, powerful pressure, easy starting, and comes with a standard 3 year residential warranty or a 1 year commercial warranty. So far I’m satisfied with this washer.
I bought this machine used it one time it was brand new it has no pressure it just barely sprays any water at all
