Zoom on the Westinghouse WPX3400

The Westinghouse WPX3400 is a heavy duty, commercial pressure washer, that provides its users with an all-around versatile cleaning experience, and enables:

  • spot cleaning of hard, paintless surfaces and reaching far-away areas
  • intense cleaning of tough, paintless surfaces
  • cleaning of painted and fragile surfaces
  • application of detergent and cleaning solutions

Ahead are presented its power characteristics and design, its main features and any other additional features.

Power

The Westinghouse WPX3400

Its axial cam pump, which utilizes a powerful 212 cc engine, may deliver a pressure of up to 3400 PSI (almost 57 times more than a standard garden hose) and a flow of up to 2.6 GPM. These values correspond to a cleaning power of 8840 Cleaning Units.

The engine of this gas-powered pressure washer gets started by a classic pull-start mechanism.

The fuel is stored in a tank, which can hold up to 0.9 gallon of gasoline.

Design & Handling

With its hand truck design and approximate dimensions of D21 x W19.5 x H39 in, the Westinghouse WPX3400 provides great mobility. The robust steel tubing frame guarantees longevity of the assembly. The foam-padded fixed handle adds to the WPX3400 convenience of transport, while offering a comfortable grip.

With a weight of 63 lbs, the unit can be easily maneuvered by most users. One of the largest contributors to its weight are its 212 cc engine and its steel tubing frame. Since the WPX3400 has a set of two 12" never-flat wheels, it is still easily maneuvered and manipulated.

Main Features

Along with the Westinghouse WPX3400 itself, the package also includes a spray gun, a wand, a pressure hose, 5 nozzles and a detergent injection feature, which are discussed in further detail below.

  • Soap injection: Detergent is stored in a 0.5 gal tank. The detergent is diluted with a 12:1 ratio by the Westinghouse WPX3400's automatic soap dilution mechanism. Whenever a soap nozzle is connected, the detergent is automatically added to the water.
  • Pressure hose: A neat storage for the included 25 ft ⌀5/16" high-pressure hose is facilitated by a set of convenient hooks.
  • Spray gun and wand: A side hook allows for an easy storage of the included classic ergonomic spray gun and its steel wand.
  • Nozzles: The 5 included nozzles, and the respective surfaces they’re appropriate for, are listed in the table below.
